Volunteering at HALC

All volunteers are trained to provide confidential and sensitive advice to our clients under the supervision of our solicitors

Law students wishing to volunteer and/or who want to undertake their PLT (Practical Legal Training) at the Centre should forward their CV and a cover letter to the centre co-ordinator by email.

Solicitors who are able to offer their time to assist the centre are encouraged to contact us to discuss possible options for volunteering for daytime or evening sessions.

Donations
Whilst the sevices provided to our clients are free of charge, HALC gratefully accepts donations to provide better and ongoing facilities and service.

If you would like to make a donation by cheque, please include your name and address with your cheque.We will send you a receipt, and any donation over $2 is tax deductible.
